Delightful original 1940s hair clip display card with an amenable child smiling happily despite the starched white dress and button up boots.

The little bow hair clip, decorated with a celluloid flower nestles amongst her curls.

And it's comforting to read the claim on the card  that this is a "NON-FLARE" hair clip ...so no danger of your childs head inadvertently catching fire.

Equally encouraging is that it is a "STAY TIGHT CLASP CANNOT FALL OUT"

 "A TWINCO PRODUCT MADE IN ENGLAND"

This is stamped on the back of the bow too.

The clip on the back is a light metal, a bit springy.

The display card is 10 x 6.7cm and the clip is 4.5cm long. 

I have them with either white or purple flowers.
